Rosy Business 3 cast consists of Wayne Lai, Myolie Wu, Edwin Siu, Sire Ma, Susan Tse, Helena Law, Eric Li, Lee Sing Cheung, etc. Natalie Tong was originally supposed to be in this series, but she will now be filming another series instead. I'm not sure if Sire will now be taking on her role or if they will be replacing her with someone else. More info to come...

TVB Weekly Magazine Cover
After Wayne Lai and Tavia Yeung's win this year at the TVB awards, they graced the cover of TVB Weekly. They both look really nice, although from this picture, you can't really tell that Wayne is sitting so Tavia just looks a lot taller than him. haha.

Rosy Business 3 Sales Clip Filming
Wayne Lai, Myolie Wu, and Edwin Siu gathered together to film a sales presentation clip for Rosy Business 3. Myolie admits to feeling the pressure because she doesn't want it to seem like she's replacing Sheren Teng, but says she will still do her best. Although she would like a change in the title, Wayne does not think it is necessary. There were angry comments when it seemed like he was replacing Bobby in the Forensic Heroes series, but it turned out okay in the end.
Although the story is still being worked out, Myolie and Wayne will portray work partners while her and Edwin will be childhood sweethearts.

I really hate that wig on Myolie! Short bangs do not look good on anyone. Wayne looks pretty weird in this picture too. Myolie looks so much prettier in the picture below so hopefully she will have this look for most of the series. :)

New Lee Tim Sing series w/ Wayne, Myolie, and Edwin
Lee Tim Sing is planning for a new "Rosy Business" installment, even though the storyline is completely independent of the first 2 series. The only thing that will be constant is Wayne Lai as the male lead. Tim Gor was satisfied with the pairing of Wayne and Sheren and doesn't feel like there is any more story for him to tell between the two.
The new story will be very romantic with a new combination of Wayne Lai, Myolie Wu, and Edwin Siu. Instead of having just one male and female protagonist, he feels that there is a better story with 3 people.
Why Myolie?
Tim Gor said that Myolie is the rising star that he wants the most, but her schedule has always been difficult to book. Her acting has always been very good, but he feels that there are a few areas that she can work on but no one has pointed it out to her. As a producer, he hopes to bring out a different Myolie. He has also talked to Myolie about the collaboration and she has expressed that she is very willing to learn more and looking forward to working together.

Very excited for this new combination! Myolie has been paired with older actors (Francis Ng, Sunny Chan, Tse Kwan Ho, etc.) many times already so I don't think the age difference is that bad. It'll also be the first time that she is paired with Edwin which I look forward to. Actually, she rarely gets the chance to film for Catherine Tsangs' side since she is considered part of Tommy Leung's side, so I never expected that she would film for Lee Tim Sing. I like what he said about working with her on her acting because although I feel that she is a very good actress, I think that every actor has something that they can work on. It's good that he's willing to take time to work with his actors.
I remember Tim Gor also mentioning that he wanted to work with Raymond Lam and I hope that happens before he retires! I think Raymond is one of the best younger actors out there but he hasn't had any good roles lately. I think a new collaboration and perspective would bring something out in Raymond so that he really shines.
TVB Kings filming together
Moses Chan has been pulled out of the Amy Wong series to film a 30 episode (modern) grand production with Wayne Lai. No word on the female leads, but a lot of the current fadans are busy filming other series right now. I hope that they utilize Alice Chan for this series since I think she will look good with either guys.
Below are some other series that featured a pair of TV Kings.
1. Last One Standing with Roger Kwok and Kevin Cheng (loved this series!)
2. Beyond The Realm of Conscience with Moses Chan and Kevin Cheng (this series was pretty boring and did not like either of their characters very much)
3. Various series with Moses Chan and Bowie Lam (honestly, I'm sick of seeing them in series together)
4. Upcoming series with Moses Chan and Wayne Lai- They actually filmed a few series together before but Wayne usually had the smaller supporting roles. This time, I would say that Wayne is ranked higher since he is a 2-time winner (and that his acting is much better)!

Miss Hong Kong 2012 (Fashion Post)
I didn't really have a preference for who wins, but I thought Melanie was awful. The top 3 seemed to give the best answers and remained calm and elegant throughout the whole process. The winner was actually supposed to be chosen in the last 10 minutes through an audience vote. As soon as I heard that, I knew it was going to be a disaster because I knew their servers would crash and it did.
Anyways, there were many guests who were part of the event that included TVB stars (Raymond Lam, Myolie Wu, Ruco Chan, Wayne Lai, etc.), musicians (Kay Tse, Grasshopper, Alfred Hui, etc.), former Miss Hong Kongs, and superstars such as Andy Lau and Carina Lau!

Rosy Business 3 in the works
Rosy Business 3 is confirmed to start filming in March of 2013 with Wayne Lai as the male lead and Lee Tim Sing as the producer. There is no word on Sheren Teng joining the cast yet, but Wayne hopes that she will join as well. The story is still being finalized and will be a new story, and not a continuation of either the first or second series. No other cast members have been confirmed yet.
Are you excited for another sequel? Actually, these weren't really sequels. It's more like the same cast and producer with a different story. I'm hoping it's a modern series since the first one was ancient and the second was pre-modern. However, Lee Tim Sing prefers pre-modern/ancient and the last modern series he made was in 2005: Fantasy Hotel.

New Upcoming Series
1. Producer: Lam Chi Wah (Tiger Cubs, Highs & Lows, Wish and Switch)
Filming: October
The cast will include Selena Li and Sharon Chan so far. Sharon previously stated that this will be a modern series.

My guess for the male lead would be Michael Tse since he doesn't having upcoming series planned. A lot of the other male leads at TVB are busy filming other series, Raymond Lam will be concentrating on his music for the rest of the year, and Roger Kwok usually splits his filming time between China and Hong Kong.
2. Producer: Tsui Ching-Hong (War of Genders, To Catch The Uncatchable) He has not filmed for TVB these past few years.
Filming: November
Cast: Wayne Lai
A Great Way to Care is supposed to end filming in October so Tavia Yeung is a possibility for female lead. They were supposed to film Detective Columbo together but Tavia had a prior filming engagement so she couldn't do it, but I think they would be an interesting pair. Otherwise, I am hoping for someone a little older like Alice Chan, Joyce Tang, or Christine Ng. Bobby Au Yeung is also supposed to film a series before the end of the year and a Bobby/Wayne series would be amazing!
What are your guesses for who might join these casts?

Wayne Lai taking pictures for a health ad
I have always liked Wayne, but he became one of my favorite actors when I saw him in The Gentle Crackdown 2. He basically stole the show and I have been rooting for him ever since. His popularity soared since starring in Rosy Business and No Regrets and got him back to back Best Actor wins for the TVB awards. Although Wayne has gotten many offers to film in mainland, he prefers to stay in Hong Kong because he doesn't want to be away from his son for too long. He also doesn't have to worry that much about money since he gets many endorsement deals, such as the one for the health ad below.

Who do other TVB artists support for Best Actor/Best Actress?
TVB Weekly asked 34 TVB artists who they supported for the Best Actor and Best Actress for the 2011 Anniversary Awards and a majority of them voted for Myolie Wu and Kevin Cheng. I always like seeing who their colleagues are rooting for.
26 artists selected Myolie Wu for TV Queen. Those people include: Nancy Wu, Raymond Lam, Natalie Tong, Linda Chung, Crystal Tin, Wayne Lai, Evergreen Mak, Ruco Chan, Kate Tsui, Sam Lee, Ron Ng, Louis Cheng, Bosco Wong, Raymond Cho, Vivien Yeo, Mandy Wong, Ben Wong, Sire Ma, Koni Lui, Derek Kwok, Sharon Chan, Christine Kuo, Dodo Cheng, Kevin Cheng, and Johnson Li.

17 artists selected Kevin Cheng for TV King. These people include: Myolie Wu, Christine Kuo, Ben Wong, Sharon Chan, Sam Lee, Wayne Lai, Natalie Tong, Samantha Ko, Raymond Cho, Elena Kong, Crystal Tin, Vivien Yeo, Nancy Wu, Dodo Cheng, Kenneth Ma, and Raymond Wong.

The other votes for TV Queen are as follows: 4 votes went to Fala Chen by Tavia Yeung, Kitty Yuen, Samantha Ko, and Raymond Wong. 2 votes went to Tavia Yeung from Aimee Chan and Fala Chen.
The other votes for TV King are as follows: 6 votes to Wayne Lai from Edwin Siu, Raymond Lam, Ron Ng, Linda Chung, Aimee Chan, and Pierre Ngo. 3 votes each to Bosco Wong and Steven Ma. Koni Lui, Kate Tsui and Kitty Yuen are rooting for Bosco while Fala Chen, Evergreen Mak, and Johnson Li are rooting for Steven Ma. Michael Tse has Bosco Wong and Derek Kwok on his side while Tavia Yeung and Mandy Wong are rooting for Raymond Lam.

Of course, there are hundreds of artists out there but it is interesting to see what this sample is saying. I'm surprised that Michael Tse doesn't have that many people picking him for TV King. There are more people choosing Bosco and Steven over him. There is still a lot of fans that want him to win, but in the end it's all up to TVB. Do they see him as a capable leading actor? Can he bring in the ratings, prestige, or money to TVB for them to give the award to him? It's up to TVB to decide, but I actually see Kevin as the safer choice right now. Either way, I see them both getting an award that night.
