Bounty Lady Sub-theme song by Sharon Chan

Sharon Chan sings the sub-theme song for Bounty Lady and TVB just released the song in full:

I really like this series so far! Sharon is so cute in this series!

Dayo Wong series starting in April

Kate Tsui has joined the Dayo Wong series and her and Sharon Chan will be the female leads involved in a love triangle with Dayo. Other cast members so far include Louis Yuen, Benz Hui, Jazz Lam, May Chan, and Elena Kong. Dayo will have creative freedom with the script and the series should start filming in April.

Happy birthday Kenneth and Sharon!

Good friends Kenneth Ma and Sharon Chan celebrated their birthday month together with their fans. Kenneth turns 39 and Sharon turns 34. They both look great and much younger than their actual age!

法網囂雄 Costume Filming (Arrogant Man of Justice)

  • Roger Kwok will play an arrogant lawyer.
  • Sharon Chan is a single mom who has a kid with Stephen Wong who handed her kid to Joyce to take care of.
  • Raymond Cho and Joyce Tang will play a pair.
  • Selena Li and Johnson Li will play a married couple and Grace Wong will try and get in the way of their relationship.

I didn't expect Sharon to be the female lead in this since I thought it would have been Selena. Also, what is with their wardrobe? It looks like a mix of decades.

Food For The Slaves 食為奴 Sales Presentation Filming

Please note that this is for presentation purposes only and the cast is not official. Taking part in the clip will be Raymond Lam, Ron Ng, Fala Chen, Sharon Chan, and Nancy Wu. It will be a palace drama.

Three Kingdoms RPG Celebration Dinner

Kenneth Ma, Raymond Lam, Tavia Yeung, Sharon Chan, Ruco Chan and many others attended the celebration dinner for Three Kingdoms RPG.

I like Tavia with the longer hair and Sharon with the shorter hair. It looks good on them.
As for the series, I actually did not like it very much. I thought it was pretty boring and a waste of a good cast!

Miss Hong Kong 2012 (Fashion Post)

Congratulations to Carat Cheung for winning Miss Hong Kong 2012! Jacqueline Wong got 1st runner up and Tracy Chu (who looks like TVB artist/reporter Sarah Song to me!) got 2nd runner up.

I didn't really have a preference for who wins, but I thought Melanie was awful. The top 3 seemed to give the best answers and remained calm and elegant throughout the whole process. The winner was actually supposed to be chosen in the last 10 minutes through an audience vote. As soon as I heard that, I knew it was going to be a disaster because I knew their servers would crash and it did.

Anyways, there were many guests who were part of the event that included TVB stars (Raymond Lam, Myolie Wu, Ruco Chan, Wayne Lai, etc.), musicians (Kay Tse, Grasshopper, Alfred Hui, etc.), former Miss Hong Kongs, and superstars such as Andy Lau and Carina Lau!

Check out the various fashions below:

New Upcoming Series

1. Producer: Lam Chi Wah (Tiger Cubs, Highs & Lows, Wish and Switch)
Filming: October
The cast will include Selena Li and Sharon Chan so far. Sharon previously stated that this will be a modern series.

My guess for the male lead would be Michael Tse since he doesn't having upcoming series planned. A lot of the other male leads at TVB are busy filming other series, Raymond Lam will be concentrating on his music for the rest of the year, and Roger Kwok usually splits his filming time between China and Hong Kong.

2. Producer: Tsui Ching-Hong (War of Genders, To Catch The Uncatchable) He has not filmed for TVB these past few years.
Filming: November
Cast: Wayne Lai

A Great Way to Care is supposed to end filming in October so Tavia Yeung is a possibility for female lead. They were supposed to film Detective Columbo together but Tavia had a prior filming engagement so she couldn't do it, but I think they would be an interesting pair. Otherwise, I am hoping for someone a little older like Alice Chan, Joyce Tang, or Christine Ng. Bobby Au Yeung is also supposed to film a series before the end of the year and a Bobby/Wayne series would be amazing!

What are your guesses for who might join these casts?

Happy Birthday Sharon Chan!

It was Sharon Chan's 33rd birthday yesterday but she still accepted a job in which she had to dress up in full costume. She planned to celebrate her birthday later in the day with friends and her boyfriend. When asked what her boyfriend got for her, she just said that it was a very sweet gift.

Sharon looks pretty good in this extravagant costume! It must be pretty heavy with all the beads and the headpieces though. It looks like she will have a good year coming up since she just finished filming her first co-lead role.

Sharon Chan Christmas Event

Sharon Chan attended a promotional event on Dec. 26 and her fans made her a doll to reflect her character in Ghetto Justice, complete with a French setting. So cute!

More Beauties

TVB is promoting the 5 Beauties of TVB as their first line artists and that includes: Myolie, Tavia, Linda, Kate, and Fala. After them, there's another crop of female artists that are considered another 5 Golden Flowers that lines up behind them. My original guess is that it would Aimee Chan but someone put together this other list which excludes her and has Elaine Yiu instead.

(From left to right: Elaine Yiu, Nancy Wu, Natalie Tong, Selena Li, Sharon Chan)

Do you agree with this list? Is there anyone you would replace?

Other Fadans

TVB has been trying to promote the "5 Beauties" as sort of an A-list fadan list. In a way, I do think they succeeded because they are probably the most popular with the general audience and sponsors even though I do think a few of them really need to work on their acting still. If those 5 are considered A-list, I think the following 5 are considered their B-list. Some of them already have had leading roles while others will have their first leading role this year or they usually play a big supporting role.

Nancy Wu

She's yet to have a leading role but she's been able to play a variety of big supporting roles. She's able to play a variety of roles, but has not had the opportunity to play a leading role just yet.
Coming up: an evil role in Curse of the Royal Harem, deaf and mute boxer in Boxing King

Selena Li

She's already had the opportunity to play lead in Life and Times of A Sentinel and will continue to do so in Boxing King and will also be lead behind Myolie in Endless Exchange of Enjoyment. She also moved up to the front row during the TVB lighting ceremony.
Coming up: More lead roles where she is paired up with Kevin Cheng in Boxing King. Kevin has been getting more and more popular and it will be to her advantage when their series airs.

Aimee Chan

Honestly, I think the only reason TVB is promoting her to a front-line fadan is because she's dating Moses and they want to make it seem like one of their top stars is dating another top star. TVB made a lot of money from the Bernice/Moses pairing and they probably want to do the same with this. She's cute and does okay in small supporting roles but her enunciation is pretty bad and her acting is not so good either.
Coming up: big roles in Psychological Warfare, ATF, and Ladder to Heaven

Sharon Chan

She's played a bunch of supporting roles and she finally gained attention for her role in Ghetto Justice. Because of this, it looks like TVB is finally giving her a lead role in Schemes of East and West along with Fala Chen.
Coming up: her first lead role

Natalie Tong

She won the Most Improved Award last year and has been getting a lot of 2nd female lead roles now. I always think of her as really young because I'm used to seeing her in roles as someone's sister, but did you know that she's now 30?
Coming up: Boxing King and a role in King's Makers
