Will Win: Chilam Cheung - If Francis Ng decides to attend, I can see him winning but I doubt he will show up. The dark horse is Kenneth Ma but the ratings for the sequel are just average and there's no noise on his character since it's no longer a breakthrough since he portrayed him last year. Also, he already won an award for this portrayal last year so I can't see them giving him another award this year.

Will Win: Linda Chung - My original thought was that Linda will get the Best Actress award after Myolie and Tavia, but then Brother's Keeper aired. Her role was not really that big and didn't particulary shine, but Linda is a media favorite and she still has the biggest buzz so I think I'll stick with Linda even though I really want to say Kristal. I think Kristal is a lock for Favorite Female Character and I can't imagine Kristal getting both the Best Actress and Favorite Character award. It's pretty obvious that Kristal's character is more popular than Linda's character in Brother's Keeper so I can't imagine them giving the "runner-up" award of Favorite Character award to her. By the way, I think the original intention was to have a Linda vs Fala year for Best Actress, but Fala had a poor performance in Triumph and she didn't re-sign with TVB so there's no way Fala is getting it this year.
Other Thoughts: It's funny that Ada and Christine got nominated for Beauty at War and Sheren didn't but its to be expected since Sheren dissed the series. I don't really care since I still haven't watched this series.

Will Win: Chilam Cheung - Will TVB award Chilam twice? I'm not sure, but Captain Cool is the most popular character to come out this year. However, since this is 100% voted by the audience, I'm not totally sure how they would vote.
Other Thoughts: My choice would be for Ron to win and Chilam to get Best Actor but I can see Wayne also winning since the audience loves him. Dayo might also have a shot since his series is currently airing and fresh on people's mind.

Other Thoughts: Kristal probably had the most popular female character this year, but I'm not sure if she has enough fans voting for her. My preference would be for Kristal to win Best Actress but then who would be Favorite Female Character? Maybe Myolie since Triumph 2 is still the highest rated series and her character was pretty popular, but maybe Linda's fans will all rush to vote for her?

Other Thoughts: Why the heck is Jason Chan, the worst actor in Will Power, nominated but not Vincent Wong?! I also wish they replaced Kenneth with another supporting actor since he's nominated in the leading category already.

Will Win: Jason Chan - It's actually a toss up because I think they all have a good shot, other than Benjamin because he gets overshadowed by his competitors. Jason is probably the worst of this bunch but they seem to really love him, so I'm just going to choose him and hope that I am totally wrong.
Other Thoughts: I really thought that Fred Cheng would get nominated since it's not always about acting. This is also a "leap progress" award and his popularity jumped due to his stint on Voice of Stars and is one of the buzziest stars of this year.
Most Improved Female

Should Win: Grace Wong - Her acting has really improved and she was able to portray different characters in all her series pretty well. She hasn't been shown in The Hippocratic Crush II and Bounty Lady yet, so I'm hoping that these would boost her chances.
Will Win: Eliza Sam - She plays every character the same and her accent is still bad, but they've already been pushing her to bigger roles. I think it's between her and Priscilla who is not that great at acting either. She sounded like she was about to cry while delivering her lines in Reality Check and she shouts her lines in Karma Rider, but she makes a good host. She's already leading so I can see them giving this to her.
Other Thoughts: Why Oceane Zhu? She was in a lot of series this year but most of them have been tiny roles. I wish they replaced her with Queenie Chu or Samantha Ko. I'm surprised that Rebecca Zhu is not nominated and pleasantly surprised that Christine Kuo is not there! It's also missing Lin Xia Wei- she's one of their promoted actresses with talent and I thought she would get nominated.

Best Drama

Triumph in the Skies II: Big stars + highest rated series of the year = winner
It had some flaws, but I liked the series overall and it was the most popular not just in Hong Kong, but in other countries as well.
Like last year, there would be the Outstanding Artist Awards (not sure if there will be 5 again) and Lifetime Achievement Award.

We have some similar predictions, except I'm picking Kate for Queen (not bevelling the media hype for Linda) and Kenneth for Fav Male (100% fan vote + Chilam already getting the BA). Gosh, if Jason wins Most Improved over Vincent (or anyone), that would be mind-blowing!
@miriamfanz I think Kate has a good shot since Bounty Lady has some good buzz, and this is a new type of role for her that she can shine in. Kenneth is one of my faves, but I do not want him to win 2 years in a row for the same character... and I don't even like how his character is so far in the sequel! He does have a big shot since his series is airing up until the awards so he'll be fresh on people's mind.
